Wall Flower

You fade from white to blue
Green umbrellas over You
You parachute, fall between spaces
The buildings on repeat
The soft grass under feet
You mesmerize, can’t take my eyes off you
Maybe I’m just tired and staring at walls
While the world is spinning I stumble down halls
‘Til I see you staring with me
Some would say you’re in between
The current and lame but I foresee
There’s a function, to hanging in spaces
The wall’d be incomplete
Without your cling unflinchingly
You’re the color and my eyes behold you
Maybe I’m just tired and staring at walls
While the world is spinning I stumble down halls
‘Til I see you looking at me
My friends tell me I’m losing steam
That this pictures not there for me
But you’re always there to stand by my side
My friends say that I’m obviously
Losing ground to apathy
But you’re always there to hang by my side
Maybe I’m just tired and staring at walls
While the world is spinning I stumble down halls
‘Til I see you looking at me
And I know you, the wall flower for me
